Prophetic Imagination and Vision

We were asked during one of our training sessions to think in terms of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Still Believe" section of his speech "The American Dream" which was given at Drew University. From that statement of what we still believe can happen in our wildest imaginations, we were to create vision statements for what we can do now. 

Prophetic Imagination: I still believe that one day we will affirm the beauty of every person we encounter and every place we go. I still believe that some day all we meet will know that they are LOVED by God and others and have blessed the Earth by their presence.

Personal Vision Statement: To let all people know that they are LOVED and to help them recognize that they are WORTHY of that divine and human love.
